CMM control hardware and programming software continue to develop at record pace. IMS's latest control technology can be easily adapted to existing CMM's providing many of the new programming and inspection techniques at a fraction of new machine costs. By integrating IMS's latest DC motion controller or manual interface, IMS provides the ability to run any of IMS's newest 32-bit Windows? based inspection and statistical software. In many cases, your older CMM will have the functionality and programming flexibility of a new machine purchased today. IMS's new Windows based inspection software runs on a NT or Windows based platform, providing further compatibility with other software products. IMS's retrofit experience is unmatched in the industry. IMS has performed retrofits on most major brand CMM's spanning over 40 different models. As a world supplier, IMS has performed CMM retrofits in 20+ different countries. Any CMM, irrespective of OEM, is a candidate for an IMS retrofit. All retrofitted machines become our responsibility, and are fully supported and serviced after the retrofit. All upgrades offer a full warranty and programming training. Machine calibration can be performed using Parametric Error Correction to optimize machine performance.
